City2Surf Official Training Runs provided by JORG

Join Jim Owens, experienced level 4 Athletics Australia Coach of beginners right through to elite, and Sheree Webber, qualified personal trainer of JORG Fitness, as they train and prepare you for this year's City2Surf. Both experienced runners and passionate about helping others improve their health and fitness, they'll take you through lots of technique and training tips along the course of their structured program to help you get the best out of your City2Surf run this year. Together they have launched the Up And Running Training program series which have helped many runners all over Australia improve their performance and they look forward to sharing their knowledge and experience with you. Read Sheree's running technique tips on the Juice Daily here.

Mondays 6:00 PM The Domain, meeting point adjacent to the Art Gallery of NSW Steady Pace Runs – Building aerobic fitness, training the body to run at a faster but consistent pace.
Thursdays 6:00 PM The Domain, meeting point adjacent to the Art Gallery of NSW Interval Training - Focusing on increasing speed and improving aerobic and anerobic fitness.
Saturdays 7:30 AM Robertson Road Gates, Corner of Robertson Road and Grand Parade, Centennial Park Easy Longer Run - Focusing on building endurance and cardiovascular fitness.
