With one month to go until we hit the streets for City2Surf, we have a couple of important updates to ensure you are fully prepared for the big day on Sunday 13 August. 

City2Surf Athlete Expo (Race Bib Collection)

For those visiting the City2Surf Athlete Expo at Hordern Pavillion, Moore Park for Race Bib Collection, please note the below updates.

Moore Park will be extremely busy on Saturday 12 August with AFL and NRL games kicking off at neighbouring stadiums and markets at the Entertainment Quarter. To help ensure the best experience for everyone, we will be closing the expo including the race bib collection for two hours (12pm - 2pm). The new opening hours are:

• Thursday 10 August: 12pm – 8pm
• Friday 11 August: 7am – 7pm
• Saturday 12 August: 7am – 12pm
• Saturday 12 August: 2pm – 4:30pm

We strongly encourage participants to come to Athlete Expo on Thursday and Friday. You can change your collection time to Thursday or Friday, by logging in to your RegisterNow account and updating your collection time in your account.

If Saturday is your only option, we strongly encourage coming in the morning and using public transport.

How to get to Expo:

• By Public Transport - You can find the best way to access Moore Park via public transport including train, light rail and bus here or visit transportnsw.info to plan your trip. 
• By Car – If coming on Thursday or Friday, 2-hour free parking is available at the Entertainment Quarter carpark, located just 50m from the venue. We do not recommend driving on Saturday due to the expected heavy traffic, and a $30 flat rate parking fee will apply. There will be nowhere to drop off around the Hordern, so if you do come by car you will be required to park in the Entertainment Quarter Car Park.

Baggage (previously called Bag Drop)

Due to ongoing construction works at St James Station in Hyde Park, we will be unable to provide a baggage service on Sunday prior to the race. You can get your gear dropped down to Bondi for after the event through the following options:

• Pre-event baggage service will be available at Athlete Expo at Hordern Pavillion, Moore Park on either Thursday 10 August, Friday 11 August or Saturday 12 August during the hours above.
• Baggage will also be available in Hyde Park on Saturday 12 August between 9am – 4pm.
